HUMAN RESOURCE

The PWCC’s HR department operates more as a Social Enterprise than a traditional corporate HR office. Its primary goal is empowerment, turning physical disability into athletic capability while providing a professional framework for players to represent Pakistan on the global stage.
While the PWCC operates independently, it often aligns its administrative standards with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and international disability sports frameworks.
⦿ Chairperson
⦿ Secretary General
⦿ HR Head (Who set HR policy and long-term vision.)
Specialized coaches, physiotherapists, and classifiers (who determine player eligibility based on disability levels).
HR leads at the provincial & Administrative Unit level (Sindh, Punjab, KPK, Baluchistan, Azad Kashmir & Gilgit Baltistan etc.) who manage local talent and volunteer pools.
⦿ The “working” of the HR department is centered on the unique lifecycle of a para-athlete and the logistical needs of disability sports.
Unlike standard HR, the PWCC focuses on outreach programs. They work with rehabilitation centers and NGOs to identify physically challenged individuals with an interest in sports.
⦿ Because many wheelchair cricketers come from underprivileged backgrounds, the HR and Operations units focus heavily on:
Managing travel allowance for national players to provide them with less financial issues during travelling.
Coordinating with Emergency response and physiotherapists to ensure specialized care for athletes.
Managing the procurement and distribution of customized sports wheelchairs.
⦿ When tournaments are organized, the HR/Operations team handles:
Ensuring that venues, transportation, and accommodation are 100% wheelchair accessible.
Large-scale recruitment of volunteers for match days to assist players with mobility and logistics.
⦿ The HR department acts as a liaison with:
For technical support and occasional funding.
To ensure that Pakistan's administrative and player standards meet international benchmarks.
